Open shifts do not need to
be scheduled or confirmed to a particular employee. Any active employee can
book on to a Standard Open shift using IVR or My SmartTask. If Advanced Open
shifts are used then the employee will need to book on using SmartTask
Advanced. Open Shifts can also be used for Multi Person Book on/off as long as
the mobile device has been assigned to the location.
Open shifts are created by selecting Open Shifts on the General Tab of the add/update services screen.
